Willington Manor Farmhouse is a classic 17th century Grade II listed Cotswold farmhouse set away from the road, surrounded by its own farmland. This very spacious self catering accommodation is situated in a magnificent position just outside the hamlet of Willington, close to the River Stour. The Farmhouse has gardens including a large, enclosed garden on the south side with a large lawn. The nearest pubs are in the village 1 to 2 miles away and a range of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found in Shipston, 1.5 miles away. Other places to visit include Chipping Campden which is 6 miles away and Stratford-upon-Avon (with the renowned Royal Shakespeare) 11 miles away.
Chipping Campden is arguably the most attractive of the larger Cotswolds wool villages and the High Street was described by the historian, Sir George Trevellyan, as “the most beautiful village street now left in this island”. The village has an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs and is a good centre for visiting the Cotswold beauty spots and gardens.Other lovely, Cotswold towns nearby are Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold. However, if you fancy something different, make a trip to Batsford Arboretum or Hidcote Gardens.
