Attractions and nearby amenitiesThe nearest pubs are in the village one to two miles away and a range of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found in Shipston-on-Stour, one and a half miles away.
Other places to visit include Chipping Campden which is six miles away and Stratford-upon-Avon (with the renowned Royal Shakespeare) 11 miles away.
Chipping Campden is arguably the most attractive of the larger Cotswold wool villages and the High Street was described by the historian, Sir George Trevellyan, as “the most beautiful village street now left in this island”. The village has an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs and is a good centre for visiting the Cotswold beauty spots and gardens.
Other lovely, Cotswold towns nearby are Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Iif you fancy something different, make a trip to Batsford Arboretum or Hidcote Gardens.
