"Stayed at S15937 for a long weekend ... such lovely, comfortable and cosy accommodation. We loved it so much we didn't want to come home. The welcome pack was such a lovely gesture ... THANK YOU!"
    Carol – 31 Oct 2018
"There were no will go as specified, the bed were so uncomfortable we left a day early, the door kept sticking so we had to use side door. Paddock was good for our dog. Kitchen were fully equipped although cupboards were broken"
    Bernard – 26 Oct 2018
"Had a restful long weekend with our doggie at S15937 as a base to visit Bourton in the Water, Batsford Arbouretum, Chipping Campden and Cotswold walks. Had fabulous meals out at Ebrington Arms, Red Lion at Long Compton and Churchill Arms at Paxford (all dog friendly). The cottage was stylish, warm and comfortable. The owner welcomed us on arrival with wine, cake and doggie treats and showed us the bonus of a fenced off dog exercise area and gave us some milk as the nearest shop was in Shipston. Excellent Tv and lots of local information leaflets etc. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend."
    Paul – 22 Oct 2018
"The dog loved it, as did we and it was a great location to visit places of interest in the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon."
    JEFFREY – 19 Oct 2018
"A very comfortable cottage and extremely dog friendly which suited us. The location was ideal as we were visiting my sister who lives nearby."
    Thomas – 30 Sep 2018
"Lovely comfortable cottage ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds. The paddock was a real plus to exercise dog. Chocolate cake and wine really nice gesture which was very much enjoyed and appreciated."
    Bernard – 23 Sep 2018
"We have stayed here before but found standards had dropped considerably. The cooker and microwave has not been cleaned for a long time.Saucepans are scratchedBreeding ground for salmonella) with no lids frying pan still had marks of old fat.Towels are very rough to touch. The gesture of wine and cake is appreciated but it would be preferrential to have milk, tea and coffee as not everyone drinks wine.Great improvement with gravelled driveway and easy access to all accomodation and appreciated the paddock for dogs."
    Alan – 26 Aug 2018
"Fantastic short break away with our 2 dogs. Extremely well designed/equipped accommodation in a great location, absolutely perfect for a couple with dogs to explore the northern Cotswolds. Completely secure patio and exercise paddock a real bonus! This was our second visit and we'll definitely be back!"
    Gill – 5 Aug 2018
"Once upon a time S15937 was probably a stunning property but it now needs a overhaul. Furniture was shabby and crockery needed replacing. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom and no soap provided as we have always had elsewhere. Wine was a nice gesture but we don't drink so milk and tea would have been more appropriate. Oven needed a clean and so did the washing machine dispenser. At least 10 light bulbs needed replacing. Had to go out and buy a washing line and pegs as there were none provided."
    Raymond – 21 Jul 2018
"Very comfortable accommodation. Ideally situated for touring the Cotswolds. Lovely field for the dogs. Will definitely be returning."
    R – 12 Jul 2018
"Nice location, just near enough to the Cotswold without being crowded. Bourton on the Water is worth a visit, but arrive early especially at the weekends!!! Barn could do with a few more items such as a coffee table to put cups on in the main living area. Salt & Pepper set would have been welcome, and the welcome pack would have been better if it had consisted of essentials such as Milk, Tea, Coffee and Sugar, rather than the Wine and Cake!!."
    Mary – 13 Jun 2018
"Had a lovely stay at barn for one week. Very quiet and a great location for visiting the Cotswold area."
    Andrea – 2 Jun 2018
"S15937 was comfortable and well-equipped, and very spacious for a one-bedroom place. The bathroom was very big with excellent shower & bath. What we liked best about the place was the paddock which was reserved for us to use to exercise our dog. We took our border collie there every day to play ball. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome."
    Janet – 29 May 2018
"We enjoyed our stay at Bumington Barn. A very peaceful location with lots of places to visit in the vicinity. It was comfortable and quite adequate for a weekend away"
    Anne and Alan – 26 May 2018
"Very well designed barn in a lovely rural location. Lisa was a very welcoming owner, also really dog friendly accommodation. Would have liked to have given an overall rating of 10 but did not find the bed comfortable and felt a few appliances in the kitchen needed updating. With a few small improvements this barn should be 5 star."
