"Overall an excellent cottage, really well equipped and comfortable. The owners are lovely, and nothing this too much trouble. The only thing I would highlight is that the twin beds are probably only suitable for relatively young children - they have been modified to fit the space (still full length but legs have been altered as sloping wall means that floor length isn't quite long enough for original frame) which makes them a bit creaky and wobbly, my 7 and 10 year old were fine but I'd be nervous about older ones."

"This was the second time we stayed at this holiday cottage so we knew what to expect. On arrival there was a welcome pack of bread, milk and some yummy biscuits, all very appreciated. We were on holiday with our two children (8 and 4) and found the Accomodation adequate for a week’s holiday. The second bedroom is very small but fine for our two to sleep in. The kitchen is well enough equipped for a week with plenty of crockery and other utensils. We know Stratford and the surrounding area well as we have family in the town, we found lots to do and places to visit, although it wasn’t half term in Warwickshire so some places were not set up with the usual half term activities. Great place to stay and the owners are very friendly."

"The cottage was ideal, the only downside was that although it was surrounded by fields, it was next to a busy main road and you could hear the traffic, it was also difficult to get out of the car parking area."

"Perfect location and an ideal size cottage for being out and about."
James – 13 Oct 2017
"While it is true the cottage is small, the spare bedroom off the master just holds two single beds, it contains every necessary amenity and my wife and her daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much. We mostly spent the evenings there while going out and about in the day. so again, the square footage of the place is of no real consequence. The kitchen is well equipped, though we couldn't find measuring cups or spoons. As another guest pointed out, the tub did drain slow, and the shower a little tight; however, after bringing the slow draining tub to the owner's attention this was dealt with. There is something to be said about communication. We found the owners to be friendly and accommodating. The setting is pastoral. We would definitely stay there again!"

"Lovely little place, nice family who own the cottage but they leave you to get on with it. Had everything we needed as a family of 3, very comfortable and the welcome pack is a lovely touch too."
James – 11 Aug 2017
"Great cottage, great location. Only downsides for us was the patio. Both my children said it was like being in a cage or prison. Trapped behind wooden bars but not allowed in. You can look into the owners garden and the views but you feel caged off. Especially if the garden was being used by the owners and friends. I totally understand the design of the cottage. All of the light comes in via the patio, so this is the reason for the wooden bars to let the light through. for me the answer would have been a small garden for the cottage fenced off."

"This is a really lovely little cottage and great as a touring base as there is so many nice places to visit. It was a touch on the small side for us as a family of 4 with a 13 and 6 year old. You really cannot fault the attention to detail from the owner with everything available inside the cottage. The TV bizarrely didn't pick up BBC channels very well.We were both poorly for a couple of days and the lack of enough outside space was definitely missed by the children. It did feel strange looking into the owners garden and sharing their driveway.Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would recommend Hatton Adventure world as a good day out with children."

"Great place to stay, very clean and cosy"
Alison – 23 Jun 2017
"A well equipped cottage and in an excellent location. Head room upstairs is limited, especially in the shower. We are both tall and had to stoop to get under the shower. The owners were very friendly and we appreciated the welcome gifts. Only a few miles from the centre of Stratford upon Avon and a supermarket just a short distance away. Driveway can get a little busy but always managed to get our car parked."

"Fantastic property"
Confirmed guest – 17 Feb 2017
"Lovely warm (maybe a bit too warm for us!) cottage in a great location to visit a lot of attractions. Perfect size for a couple to have a romantic break with a thoughtful welcome package that was much appreciated. As the property is on the owners drive there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing cars but that didn't stop it being a peaceful relaxing week!"
Caroline – 13 Feb 2017
"A great bolthole for a couple or a family with two small children. It's compact - the sitting room, dining area and kitchen are one open-plan room - but well fitted-out, very clean, lots of hot water, very comfortable"

"I don't want to leave. Lovely friendly owners and cottage is like a home from home. Very warm and cosy this cold weather in November."
"A lovely clean cottage in a great location for exploring Stratford, Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. Lots of places to visit, the furthest we drove was 50 minutes to Drayton Manor park."
"Fantastic place to stay, clean, great location, owners friendly and helpful, looking forward to going back.Highly recommend"
"It was a excellent location to visit places of interest like Stratford upon Avon, the cotswolds, Warwick."
"Ideal cottage for our little family.Living area perfect.2nd room is tiny off of the main bedroom but managed to get our cot-bed in (one is provided).Location to Stratford and surrounding areas makes for a great base."
"We absolutely loved the cottage it's the nicest place we've stayed at the cottage was clean had everything you needed they have really made the place homely by decorating it the way they have the views out the back are amazing not too far from shops ect it's such a nice place to stay! will definitely be booking the cottage again :-)"
"A lovely cottage in a brilliant location for easy access to Stratford and the Cotswolds. Only a 7 minute drive to the car park by the river at Stratford. The cottage is well laid out, comfortable and cosy. It is well equipped making for a stress free holiday. Ideal for a couple or small family ."

"Towels were damp. Main TV in living room only showed main 5 channels. Interference on other stations. No sub titles which is a big thing when you are deaf. Heating system very loud when operated."
"A well appointed, clean holiday home. It was a convenient location for touring the area and only 10mins drive from Stratford town centre. The owners were helpful and friendly and even left a welcome pack of bread, butter, biscuits, tea and coffee etc. The only down side was, because the bathroom was in the eaves, when you cleaned your teeth in the sink your head was a bit close to the ceiling, but it wasn't really a problem. Also the accommodation would be more suited to a family with children rather than 4 adults as you had to walk through the main bedroom to get from the little bedroom to the bathroom. It wasn't an issue for us as there were only 2 of us so the bedroom was more than adequate."

"We booked ourselves in a long weekend stay over. Alveston Pastures seemed ideal, secluded yet close to Stratford and Warwick. It wasn't too easy to find as there wasn't any discernible landmarks, particularly tricky when returning in the dark. The cottage itself is well equipped with most things catered for those who are travelling as a family. It is also clean and well decorated, it has a nice cosy feel to it. Points to call out is really the 2nd bedroom which is small with height restrictions, it's really suited to children or adults who really get along with each other as you sleep almost within an arms length of each other! As per other reviews, the main bed is a bit creaky and could do with either replacement/repair or tightening."
"A well presented holiday conversion. Modern facilities and lovely and clean. The only downside was creaky beds and the bathroom sink could do with re siting as it was not easy to wash without bumping your forehead on the sloping ceiling. Apart from these two little gripes I would definitely book again if in the area."
"Nice and very well equiped cottage, but the second room is to low for one adult."
"Adequate for two people, but four adults would find upstairs bedroom/bathroom layouts far from ideal, due to lack of storage space and shared access to bathroom via main bedroom."
"Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Very private and comfortable for a 3 week stay."

"Lovely cottage. Small but well formed although we did find it too warm sometimes"
"Clean and well equipped. Would certainly use again. Parking restricted to online one car which was an issue for us with two couples travelling from different parts of UK. Had to park 2 miles down road on a side street. Not a problem for a family in one car, though. "
"The cottage was lovely. The only concern was the beds in the very small second bedroom, which were very uncomfortable. Other than that we found then cottage very comfortable with everything you would need."
