This lovely mid-terrace cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Stretton-on-Fosse, on the Warwickshire-Gloucestershire border on the fringe of the Cotswolds Hills. Attractively furnished throughout to provide stylish and comfortable accommodation, this cottage is ideal for a family get together or a holiday with friends in a beautiful area. On the ground floor there is a compact but well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and a cosy sitting room with French doors that open out to the courtyard garden. Upstairs, there are two pleasant bedrooms with lovely polished wooden floors, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a family bathroom which offers a bath with a shower over, useful to soak those aching muscles after a long day out walking. Outside, there is a south-facing courtyard with a patio and furniture, an ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee before heading out for the day. A short stroll from the cottage will take you to the friendly village pub The Plough Inn, which features a large inglenook fireplace, and serves a good selection of ales and home-cooked meals. The surrounding Cotswold towns and villages such as Shipston-on-Stour, Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden, are all close by and well worth a visit. Further afield but still within easy reach are Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and its medieval castle, Oxford and Cheltenham, all of which make great days out. A delightful cottage for a memorable and enjoyable holiday at any time of year.

The small and picturesque village of Stretton-on-Fosse has fewer than 200 houses, most built of locally-made red brick and Cotswold stone and is situated on the Warwickshire-Gloucestershire border on the edge of the Cotswolds Hills. The village boasts a friendly local, The Plough Inn, which serves a fine selection of ales and home-cooked meals.
