    Mr Pundsack – 1 Apr 2018
    "the whole experience was great"
    Mrs Kvesic – 1 Mar 2018
"Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The small garden with its pond is an added delight. We were very pleased with our find and with what was provided and found the location restful; we hope other visitors will enjoy their stay as much as we did. Neston is ideally situated for lots of trips out - from archaeology, through historic villages and towns to good eating places. A short car ride away, Corsham is well worth visiting, is good for local shopping and its bookshop."

    Miss Renshaw – 1 Dec 2017
"The owners were very accommodating and responded promptly to any query. My only suggestion for improvement would be that it would have been good if the heating had been put on a day before our arrival, as it had clearly not been on for some time and it took the cottage quite a long time to heat up. But overall a minor issue that can be easily resolved, and it wouldn’t stop me from staying again!"

"The cottage has been beautifully done up and is ideally situated for visiting Bath, whilst still being in a beautiful rural location. "We loved this little cottage , yes it is small but everything is here that you need and it has so much character . The wood burner came into its own on the chilly afternoons/ evenings and made it so cosy . The little garden is just lovely and in warm weather would be perfect for sitting out enjoying the solitude . The welcome pack was just what we needed , there are shops in nearby Corsham but having arrived late afternoon , it was great to have the fresh milk , bread, butter etc to last till we went shopping . The friendly owners made us very welcome and were on hand if anything was needed . Well done Jacqui ...we had a great stay in your lovely cottage !"

"TFAB. cottage is nestled in Neston A quite little village there is little through traffic except for when parents are loading their children into & out off the local school it can get a little busy then but it does not last long. overalll we found the cottage charming & the owners pleasant they seem passionate about this cottage & look after it well, we had a couple of tiny issues but nothing too alarming so not worthy of a mention here the owner tells me they will be sorted, the wood burner is a plus & a must as the evenings begin to cool down somewhat we had it lit every evening being late Oct.. early Nov. Neston is well situated for visits to other local towns & villages where there are many opportunities for dining & sight seeing, there is also a local pub that offers food 'The Neston Country Inn' Driving in & out of neston could prove troublesome as the roads can be a little on the narrow side with not as many passing points as you might expect so care must be taken if venturing out in the evening."

"We were exhausted and found this place to be a complete haven. After the hustle and bustle of the previous few weeks the peace and quiet was simply wonderful, broken only by birdsong and the occasional clip-clop of passing 'noisy' horse. The cottage is so well equipped, we lacked nothing, and the welcome pack was such a thoughtful inclusion after a long day. We've been caught out in other places we've rented with not so much as a drop of milk for a cuppa. Jacqueline has the gift of hospitality, as seen in many little touches that make this an exceptionally homely, home from home. We required very little heating but when we did the heater in the entrance hall quickly took the chill off all the rooms. If the completion of our new home takes much longer (or our family get sick of us!) we will happily return to our cosy, quirky little nook. Highly recommend TFAB."

"We booked this cottage for a week long stay in July. We loved it! Tucked away - when the owner tells you that it is hard to find, she really means it! Neston is really pretty. Easy to get to Corsham. On road parking - we never had a problem. The cottage is lovely. It was quirky & quaint. We like different - and this certainly ticked all the boxes. It had everything we needed. If contemporary clean lines are your thing, this might not be a first choice. But for a secluded week in a cottage with a fabulous garden, this is well worth it. Easy drive to Bath, Chippenham & Bristol. We will happily return - hopefully soon."

"Wonderful week. Very warm welcome. Only thing to say is ,perhaps, that you might be a bit stuck without a car. No shop within walking distance."
Mrs Jen Mcgahey, Malton, North Yorkshire
"Thyme for a Break was a fabulous place to relax & enjoy a peaceful week. The cottage was quirky - we loved it and we would happily return. "
    Mrs Ann Milton, Royston,
"This property is perfect to get away from it all and have a relaxing break. The cottage and garden have a way of making you feel relaxed and it is so peaceful that you feel cut off from the outside world. It is only 9 miles from Bath so is ideally placed for sight seeing both in Bath and many other places of interest. I would recommend this property as an ideal place to stay for both sightseeing and relaxing."
    Mr Malcolm Cox, Rickmansworth,
"We liked the cosiness, individual attention to detail, the warmth of the bedroom, the wood burner, the quiet and the friendly owner. We would go back in a heartbeat."
Mr Sri Jiva Southall, Egham, Surrey
"Great cottage in a lovely little village. We stayed here as a base to visit Bath which worked really well. The owner was great, he got in touch to organise the check in and was very thorough in detailing how things worked in the cottage. It was completely private which was also very nice. He had gone to the effort to offer lots of wonderful small touches such as bread, eggs, butter, coffee. This was really thoughtful and welcome. Generally a great place and stay and I will come again."
Mrs Grazyna Kiszka-smith, Worthing, West Sussex
"Thyme For A Break and its garden are very pretty and private. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the same for the bathroom. The wood burner kept us warm, but the electric heating was also sufficient."
Miss Denise Dodson, Isle of Man,
"Very pretty little cottage that was lovely and cosy with a nice wood burner to sit in front of. Small private garden. So relaxing and just what we needed to wind down."
Mr Paul Gardner, Coventry, West Midlands
"It was just nice to spend time and relax in such a lovely cottage."
Mr Perry George, Crawley, West Sussex
"A very warm welcome from the owner with a welcome pack included. Nice touch!"
