"Despite the property being cosy we found the decor and furnishing to be very tired. Whilst the owner was friendly he should not ask guests if they have broken anything."
    Confirmed Guest – 24 Aug 2017
"Cottage was nice but the welcome hamper lacked the local produce we've come to expect from Snaptrip. All supermarket prepackaged goods, very boring. The place could have been a little cleaner, but nothing major."

"The cottage was pleasant and comfortable inside. The owner was friendly and helpful. Welcome basket was rather sparse. The exterior was not very attractive and the grass area would not be very suitable for sitting out."
    Confirmed Guest
"Yes the owner called us when we arrived and was very helpful we have stayed many times with Snaptrip and have enjoyed all of our stays."
    Confirmed Guest
"Very clean, very comfortable and well maintained. Another stay hopefully planned for later in the year."

"There was absolutely nothing wrong with S41783, we had a lovely time and in fact we're hoping to return later in the year, possibly with our horses as there's a livery yard just opposite! We all enjoyed the comfort and peace of S41783, Ben enjoyed his walks and so did we and just wish we could have stayed longer. EM, St Albans"

"We felt this property fell a little short of the normal standard that we have come to expect of Snaptrip and therefore seemed overpriced. The layout suited us perfectly but we felt that some areas were not quite as clean as we would expect (sofa covers for example) and we weren't particularly keen on the carpet in the bathroom. Some of the kitchen equipment was of poor quality."
    Confirmed Guest
"We had the most wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay here at S41783 over Christmas. Visited Marlborough, Devizes and Salisbury. Thank you for making us so welcome and checking that everything was ok during our stay and in particular for such a well stocked welcome pack. A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location - thank you. Mr W, Staffordshire."

"S41783 was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sheep and chickens to wake us in the morning! Would recommend."

"A warm welcome call was a good start to the few days we have spent here and thoroughly enjoyed. Waking up to the sound of the cockerel crowing and the sheep bleating took me back to my childhood of growing up on a farm. Walks from the front door and plenty of places of interest nearby, What a pretty village to live in. What more could we want? We would also recommend The Swan at Wilton - good food and welcoming staff. LV, West Sussex"

"What a lovely, comfortable and welcoming place to stay! Thank you for the lovely welcome hamper and for ensuring that we were ok during our stay, much appreciated. Would recommend the Swan Inn at Wilton for an evening meal (Tuesday night is steak night) and for some serious shopping try McArthur Glen Retail Outlet just outside Swindon. Otherwise just enjoy the peaceful villages, cream teas and spectacular views. JB, East Sussex"

"A most enjoyable stay in a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage. Great food at the Royal Oak oub and Wootton Rivers. Great views from Martinsell Hill. Lovely field walks. Would recommend the Medieval Town Trail in Devises, and the White Horse and Old Fort up on the Ridgeway trail near Swindon. Thanks for all the little extras, very thoughtful. S & D, Australia"

"A very comfortable cottage whose facilities more than made up for its slightly unprepossessing exterior (it was after all a stable and retains much of that appearance)"

"A Welsh word to describe our visit to Wiltshire is "Bendigedig!" Translated it means Fantastic!! We have enjoyed a number of the suggested walks taking in the beautiful, tranquil countryside. Of course, the good weather was an added bonuses. We can't thank the Owner enough for arranging to have a ramp made by a local carpenter when we mentioned that my 96 year old mother had difficulty entering S41783. Much appreciate. Marlborough is well worth a visit. The Red Lion, East Chisenbury is good for a special meal. Didn't know there were so many "white horses", we've seen 4 so far!! B&T C, Isle of Man"

"It looks like we were the first visitors from the States. We've been renting houses from Snaptrip for 30 years and S41783 has certainly made it into our "Top Ten". We loved the house, great location and loved how easy it was to get there. We've been to Stonehenge many times but this trip we visited Wood Henge and found we were able to walk the whole site without restrictions.Whole experience very enjoyable, we would return in a heartbeat.
