Sat alongside some of the oldest houses within the City, The Townhouse, is only a few minutes’ walk from the City centre. Inside, the property is very benefitting its history, with the owners presenting it in a simple, period style, filled with antiques. Relatively basic, it nevertheless is well equipped and very comfortable and represents very good value for money for such a central location.
The two bedrooms consist of one double and one single, with a bathroom featuring a shower, basin and WC. Parking is available on the street in front of the property in a public car park which is 100 yards away (daily charge). Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, with pets and smoking not allowed.
For travellers looking for an ideal spot either for a bolt hole or as a base while working here or nearby, The Townhouse is a great choice.
Salisbury is a historic town that centres itself round the 13th century cathedral which contains well preserved remnants of the Magna Carta, as well as a thriving market and an annual international arts festival held in May at the Salisbury Playhouse. The city is home to some of the most historic houses in England within the Cathedral Close.

The owner kindly provided a parking permit so we could park free very close to the house. The furniture and fittings are a bit dated but its very comfortable.

Beds were plumpcious. Fantastic location. Our second stay and definitely recommended...perhaps not with inquisitive offspring.....Many beautiful ornaments within reach.
