Halstead Green Farm is a former farmhouse and barn that can be found in the hamlet of Colden, about two miles from creative and bohemian Hebden Bridge. Detached and located on a country lane, there’s ample parking and the extensive gardens offer beautiful rural views. Upstairs there is a family bathroom and five bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. Downstairs you’ll find a variety of living spaces of which two benefit from wood burners.
In Calderdale, the hamlet of Colden is home to a grocers/off licence and a friendly pub serving food. Around 1 mile down the road is the historic village of Heptonstall, which has a further two pubs and a café. Hebden Bridge itself is a thriving and welcoming town, home to many independent shops, bars, cafés and a cinema. Approximately 10 miles away is Brontë Country and the famous picturesque village of Haworth.
The surrounding Pennine countryside is perfect for walkers, horse riders and cyclists with wooded valleys, footpaths, tracks and bridleways all easily accessible. Land Farm Open Garden is just 5 minutes away, and the National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags can be reached in around 20 minutes. The long distance traffic-free Pennine Way passes within half a mile or so of the property. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
