The Cell a cosy wing of a former Court House, offering ex-cell-ent ground floor accommodation. Featuring an open plan living room with feature window, cosy woodburning stove, a well laid out kitchen and dining area. From the living area guests are invited to walk through the original prison door to the two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a lovely kingsize bed with wrought iron bedstead and the original jail window, quite an interesting feature transporting one to a bygone age. The single bedroom is cosy and warm and both bedrooms are served by a modern shower room. From the moment guests walk through the door, the historic feel comes to the fore, with lots of lovely features including exposed brick walls, modern panelling and high ceilings combined with modern furnishings with the wonderful history of this 17th century cottage. A perfect holiday cottage you will want to come back to year after year!
Nestling under Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the attractive village of Ingleton offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. There's also a year-round climbing wall, as well as a seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool in a beautiful riverside setting. The attractive village centre has narrow winding streets centred on a tiny market place. The village's main claim to fame is the superb Waterfalls' Walk, while the well known White Scar Caves are just over a mile away.

Everything you could wish for and more all packed into a small place. We have nothing negative to add Our stay at the cells was 5star. Highly recommend

Lovely decorations and a generous assortment of goodies to welcome us to the cells for Christmas. We love the way that this wing of the house has been converted to self-catering accommodation. We were much more cosy than some of the former inmates would have been! We loved exploring the village. This is a great base for local walks and bike rides - very atmospheric in the mist.

The owner could not have made us feel more welcome and the apartment was clean, tidy and decorated very tastefully in keeping with the building. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay and we will definitely be staying again in the future.
