Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters, is one of the most picturesque villages in Yorkshire and also only 10 miles away. The spa town of Harrogate is 20 miles away by car and offers boutique and high street stores, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants.

The quaint railway station is minutes away with direct trains straight into Skipton or Leeds city centre where you can peruse the Trinity shopping centre and dine at some of the best restaurants in the area. Other places to visit include the market town of Skipton, with its bustling high street and castle, and Grassington, with its cobbled streets and popular pubs. Stroll along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, or visit Malham Tarn, England’s highest freshwater lake. For a family day out, Bolton Abbey is great for a picnic and children will love exploring the priory ruins.
