About this property

An outstanding, detached barn conversion set on a working farm, just a few hundred yards from the breathtaking Ribblehead Viaduct. Recently refurbished, this cottage enjoys an enviable position with breathtaking views of the Ribblesdale countryside, including exceptional views of the famous Three Peaks. Furnished to a very high standard, this fabulous cottage exudes individual styling throughout as both the owners and the National Park authority have gone to great lengths to ensure that much of the original character of the barn has been retained. The cottage has been re-built using existing stone and has exposed stone walls, original oak beams and features a beautiful central stone arch separating the kitchen from the main dining room. Featuring an upside-down layout to take advantage of the magnificent views, the first floor consists of a main sitting room boasting a wonderful woodburner set in a feature fireplace. There is also a games room on the landing area, a bridge over the ground floor dining room and two beautiful bedrooms. The ground floor features a galleried central dining room with adjoining farmhouse-style kitchen and snug, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. With modern appliances throughout and an eco-friendly geothermal underfloor heating system, this cottage provides a first-class holiday home amongst the Three Peaks and the famous Ribblehead Viaduct. Take advantage of your superb location in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find the fascinating White Scar Caves, the scenic Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, the imposing Yorkshire Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, or head to Hawes to tour the Dale Countryside Museum, Gayle Mill, and visit the popular Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre. Further afield, you can truly experience the beauty of the National Park aboard The Settle and Carlisle Railway. With spacious gardens and a hot tub, the outside area more than matches the quality of the interior, making this a unique property and inspiring holiday home.

Situated in the heart of the Three Peaks, Chapel-le-Dale is a small hamlet consisting of the Ribblehead Viaduct, a railway station, a pub and a scattering of small farms and dwellings. The village of Ingleton offers a range of shops, pubs and places to eat and is pretty with narrow and winding streets, centered on a tiny market place.

Two lougr areas well separated mean our multi age group could watch tvs separately. Kitchen facilities excellent with ample crockery, serving and cooking pans, casseroles etc to cater for 10 people.Hot tub brilliant and again large enough for all to enjoy together.

Quality and luxury throughout the accommodation, along with welcoming touches such as the lovely hamper and the fresh flowers. The hot tub was large and well maintained throughout our stay. The added bonus of the pool table was perfect for a rainy evening. Fantastic attractions on the doorstep such as White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, and of course, The Three Peaks! Superb hiking and cycling opportunities from the front door. A throughly enjoyable and memorable stay!

They absolutely loved it! The location is fabulous. Facilities were top notch. The property owner, Diane, was very helpful and quick to reply to my queries before the stay. Plus Chris, the maintenance person, was great too. Both my customer and myself would recommend Three Peaks Barn.
