Contemporary in design and artful in nature, S87087 is a stunning detached luxury property like no other. Pride of place in its stylish and open plan living room, complete with remote control dimmable lights, surround sound and 70” TV fitted with full Sky package and Apple TV to stream music and movies from smartphones and tablets, sits a mini grand piano either ready to be played or listened to with its pre-programmed acoustic melodies. The spacious and sociable kitchen/dining area boasts a number of high quality fittings and accessories from marble flooring with under floor heating to granite work surfaces, a range cooker to instant boiling and chilled filtered water at the touch of a button (Zip tap), and a wood burner for chillier evenings.
Each of the five comfortable bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities and TVs. For guests’ extra comfort some rooms have air-conditioning. Outside, the front terrace is set out for a family and friends outdoor dining experience, with that all-important barbecue, and the large back terrace comes complete with a private hot tub, a super hammock and lawned garden – a simply wonderful space in which to sit back, relax and enjoy.
A matter of metres across the garden is The Garage (games room), and once you step inside, you will gasp with delight. Home to an array of games such as a full-size pool table, Star Wars slot machine, retro arcade games table, air hockey and football table, complete with Jukebox, The Garage comes fully equipped with kitchenette and bar area fitted with drinks fridge, dishwasher, sink, instant hot-water tap and microwave. With a further two bedrooms on the upper floor and two bathrooms, it really is a truly unique space.
Once inside S87087 and The Garage, you will be hard pushed to leave, however the surroundings area holds a whole host of attractions. Across the road is Skipwith Common Nature Reserve which provides a variety of wilderness walks, and the historic city of York, home to York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, The Shambles, York Dungeons, wonderful shopping and, of course, York Racecourse is just a 20-minute drive. Also nearby is the McArthur Glen designer outlet, York Maize Maze and the iconic Selby Abbey, with the beautiful North Yorkshire coast accessible in around an hour. Shop, pubs and restaurant all within 1½ miles.

"S87087 is a wonderful stay for a large groups, we were family and friends of 14 mature adults. Our ages were ranging from twenties to sixties and everyone enjoyed the time we spent together and the facilities at S87087, which was for a landmark birthday celebration. Sunday lunch was taken at The Drovers Arms which is not too far away, well worth a visit as well."

"We had an extremely, fantastic, fun weekend and the house exceeded all our expectations in terms of facilities and decoration. The first day we noticed there wasn’t a large enough casserole dish and mentioned this to the host, Eva who was extremely helpful and returned within the hour with one, she was very attentive and polite and even arranged a minibus for us all to York.Although the house is on a business park it was very private, surrounded by trees, we not disturbed by any passing traffic and able to up until the early hours enjoying the facilities of the playroom without worrying about disturbing anyone! Would highly recommend."

"Our annual gathering for a group of friends, we all thoroughly enjoyed S87087.Everything was just perfect - comfy beds, the furnishings were luxurious and plenty of space. Fantastic hot tub and games room.Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody.Set on the entrance to a business park but you would not know this and aren't disturbed in any way. We saw lots of squirrels in the garden.Around 6 miles into Selby for supermarkets and shopping."

"A weird location, being in a business park. Not an obvious choice of location for a holiday let. Noise from lorries going in and out, and occasionally bothered by lorry drivers at the door, thinking we were somehow relevant to them! The house would benefit from:1 better information in the booklet about nearby attractions/ facilities (e.g. nearest supermarket, best local pubs, days out, etc)2 better kitchen layout - it is not a cook's kitchen - it is well served for glasses and crockery and cutlery but I strongly suggest you get some more stuff e.g. measuring jug, scales, baking trays (we have left you a potato peeler!) and cake tin, serving spoons, salad servers3 being able to convert the double beds into singles to allow more flexibility4 working air con on the ground floor - we could not get it to work in the corridor with the three rooms coming off5 a hot tub that isn't over 40 degrees centigrade! --- it was far too hot --- and it needs filling with more water6 the games room is great but we couldn't get the space invaders or the fruit machine to work - maybe time to upgrade/ replace?7 more keys/ fobs. Two is not enough for a house that sleeps 14 in 7 different double rooms. Or give guests the combination code so they can key it into the gate and get through. It was such a pain having only two between us. On the plus side, the house was spotlessly clean and we were really impressed by Eva and Paul in particular, who responded to our issues very promptly. The dishwasher gave out while we were there and they dealt with it really well. Great towels and linen.Thanks also for the goodie basket."

"Fabulous property, enjoyed Eva's meet & greet service and the lovely thank you card and welcome pack. The hot tub was great as were the towels and slippers that were provided, it was almost like staying in a hotel! We all had an amazing time and would definitely stay at S87087 again.Some sun loungers would have been nice as the weather has been lovely and maybe some citronella candles in the garden to deter the bugs."
