Cruise along the Ouse, walk the city walls and stroll down the cobbled Shambles. There are art galleries, museums, theatres, shops, restaurants and bars. Ideal base for the National Parks of the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, the Wolds, the coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey and historic houses at Castle Howard, Beningbrough Hall and Harewood House.
