This charming, rural cottage is ideal for families or a group of friends with its large, social kitchen/dining room. Set in a courtyard of similar properties, this semi-detached cottage is surprisingly spacious. Accepting three dogs and with an enclosed garden and a large tiled utility room accessed directly from the back door, this cottage is a paradise for doggy family members!
There’s plenty to do and see in the area. You can take a gentle stroll into the local town of Lochmaben, just along the road, and the local towns of Lochmaben and Lockerbie are a short car journey away. The Annandale Way is just down the road too. Castle Loch has a beautiful circular walk through the local nature reserve. It is also one of several sites of national and international importance for birdlife in the area. Mabie Forest has walks suitable for all abilities but is also ideal for mountain biking with some of the excellent world-class 7Stanes mountain biking trails. Dumfries and Annan have a range of shops and options for eating out. There are several excellent golf courses in the area and if you are a keen fisherman, the River Annan and Castle Loch will also catch your attention. After exploring the area, you can come back and relax in the comfy chairs and warm your feet in front of the wood burner in the feature oak framed alcove of the living room. Beach 13 miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub 6 miles and restaurant 1 mile.
