Ann
"Lovely holiday home in beautiful area but a long drive to anywhere. Great for walkers or for a peaceful quiet holiday."

"Great location. Comfortable cottage. Will use again."
Don
"Inside of fridge was broken resulting in the 2 litre milk bottle we bought falling on the floor and bursting. There was also a light bulb out in the lounge. The mattresses are very soft. Apart from these minor points the property was quick adequate. I especially liked the open fire and the overall decor."
James
"Lovely wee cottage with nice open fire for a cold night. Cosy with everything needed for a break away from it all. Quite a distance from the nearest town, although that would be to some peoples preference. No WiFi, although that's probably being a bit fussy.Would definitely stay again."
Viv
"Very handy spot and comfortable for two of us for a week. Lovely and warm to return to after a wet and windy walk."
Daniel
"S22478 is really cosy, comfortable and homely. There is a great view of the quiraing from the kitchen. Staffin is one of the prettiest villages on the Island. The open fire in the lounge is particularly welcome. It comes recommended."
Karen
"I booked this cottage after reading previous reviews and unfortunately I cannot agree with any of them. The cottage is situated on a cul de sac and the only views were out of the kitchen window over towards the quarings.....I really would have preferred some sort of a sea view and would have been prepared to pay a bit more for that. The kitchen and bathroom are functional but dated and could do with a refurb....there were only 2 in our party and it would have been very tight in the kitchen with 4 around the table. The double bed is in desperate need of a new mattress - every time you moved the coils creaked and groaned and it was very soft and spongy. The pillows could also do with replacing -very flat. The laminate floor creaked so if you had to go to the loo in the night if the chorus of coils didn't wake you the laminate creaks certainly did.The place was cleanish - but crumbs were left on the toaster and I didn't appreciate someone elses' old food and biscuits being left in the kitchen - storage is also very limited. It was nice to have the dishwasher and washing machine. The central heating was really efficient and the coal fire enhanced the gloomy lounge. It would have been nice to have had a change of bedding and towels available also as we were there for 2 weeks....or a tumble dryer so you could dry them yourself in the day. This was our second visit to the Isle of Skye which we really love and cant wait to return to - but we wont be returning to this cottage."

"We had a lovely holiday in this very comfortable cottage. The location was excellent for exploring this beautiful area of Skye. The view of the quiraing was great and we had some lovely walks from the cottage to the beach. We would recommend this cottage and hope to return in the near future. Aug 2011. "

"We found S22478 to be a well-proportion property and just ideal for that get-away feeling and having a base to return to after either walking or sightseeing in Skye. We couldn’t find any fault with it at all. July 2011."
