"Very warm and friendly welcome. Superb luxury cottage. Stunning location. We would love to go again."
    Ann – 19 Sep 2019
"A very comfortable warm cosy spacious cottage. Well maintained by the owners. The reason for a low score on local amenities means the village is 4 miles away but that shouldn’t be a problem if one arrives with ones store! The best equipped kitchen we have yet to experience, all of which is good condition, no chips, cracks, or dents and everything matched!Barbara is a caring host. If any problems were to arise they would be sorted. No problems for us.Very peaceful location with views all round. If we were to return to the area again The Parlour would be the No.1 choice."
    Janice – 8 Sep 2019
"We had a lovely stay at The Parlour. What a beautiful cottage in such a lovely location! The owner Barbara made us feel really welcome. Well worth a visit!"
    Kate – 19 Aug 2019
"We had a fabulous stay, The Parlour is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet ‘get away from it all’ break / holiday. It’s wonderfully maintained and has a fabulously large bedroom and bathroom, the bed is exceptionally comfy too. It’s perfectly positioned for both Glasgow and Edinburgh, as long as you’re prepared for a 30-40 minute drive, Loch Lomond, Stirling and Peebles are all within easy reach. Book it now, it’s fab!"
    Jim – 12 Jun 2019

    David – 18 Oct 2018
"An excellent cottage, with warm and welcoming hosts. I stayed in the cottage for a week and can not fault it in any way. The accommodation was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want for a lengthy stay. A great location to explore the New Lanark and Clyde Valley areas and Tinto is well worth a visit on a clear day with its stunning views.I would recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Lanarkshire!"
