"We loved the cottage the views and the rural location."

"Nice, spacious cottage with great view."
    Martin – 20 Aug 2018
"Firstly, let me say that we enjoyed our stay at S23530. Although it's location is somewhat remote, it is very peaceful and convenient for getting to a number of visitor attractions - e.g. New Lanark, Grey Mare's Tail, Drumlanrig Castle. It is on the map as far as home deliveries are concerned and much of our week's food arrived shortly after we did.The Cottage is spacious with three good sized bedrooms, two showers (not over the bath), large loung/diner and kitchen. Pretty much all the facilities described on the web site are included. Our party comprised four adults, two children and a baby and we certainly didn't feel congested. The small welcome hamper was much appreciated. Whilst bad weather wasn't much of an issue, the grounds aren't ideal for children to play out in (other than a large lawn) because it is mostly laid with hardcore. A few potted plants outside would enhance the cottage's appearance.A few things that would have made the cottage more comfortable are; some brighter lighting, not so hot water (far too hot for young children), a small table/unit in the bathrooms. We would stay at S23530 again? I would say yes if Lanarkshire was a future holiday destination."

"Loved our holiday, everything we wanted. We had a peaceful location to relax in but close enough to visit other places"
    Christine – 14 Apr 2018
"We loved our stay at S23530. The beds were very good and the cottage was extremely spacious. The cottage could do with a little more kitchen equipment; particularly mugs and glasses, as this would save constant washing up. Cottage in the middle of nowhere, which wouldn’t suit everyone, but we really liked it. Lovely views of newborn lambs!"
    Louise – 8 Apr 2018
"Lovely big cottage, very rural though. Despite the description it does in fact have WiFi. We were disappointed that logs were not provided for the log burner, we had to phone up to get some."
    Andrea – 4 Apr 2018
"Had a great stay at S23530. Cosy and warm on arrival. Approximately 4 miles from the M74 but quite remote, so may not be convient if you want to eat out every evening as restaurants were some distance. 3 bedrooms with large comfy beds . 2 bathrooms, a shower cubicle in each plus bath in main bathroom. 3 toilets. A really big kitchen , with a good range of equipment. A lovely lounge dinner with a log burner and a plentiful supply of logs. An issue with the heating towards the end of our stay and communication could have been better, and once fixed never quite regained the earlier warmth. Would be happy to stay again"
    Dennis – 25 Feb 2018
"We loved this cottage. Snowed in for a few days but it didn’t matter we needed a rest. Love the log burner. Lots of space made this the perfect winter break for us. Thanks to Graham who helped with the heating system and provided logs. Very helpful lady at the estate office too."
    Christine – 8 Jan 2018
"Great family get together. Perfect location for a get away from it all break."
    Krista – 5 Jan 2018
"This is a lovely cottage conveniently isolated a few miles from the motorway. We have stayed multiple times before. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived but the helpful team from the estate fixed it as soon as we reported it. Equipment in the cottage could be a bit more generous for 6 -there was enough of everything but no spares!"
    Jan – 25 Dec 2017
"a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting"
