About this property

Swiss Lodge, Carreg Cennen Castle. Kitchen, dining & sitting room. Door to decking & garden. Bathroom. Double bedroom with covered balcony. Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons & Botanic gardens close-by.

A gorgeous romantic hideaway holiday cottage in Carmarthenshire for two is situated literally at the foot of the steep stone slopes on which Carreg Cennen Castle stands.

Carreg Cennen Castle is stunningly beautiful and as you approach the cottage you will be awed by its presence and later, enjoy walking through the grounds and watch the Red Kites and Buzzards flying overhead.

Set on the edge of the beautiful Black Mountains right in the Brecon Beacons National Park with its abundance of footpaths and magnificent scenery. Llandeilo is just 10 minutes drive away and has a selection of individual shops and eateries and there is a pub about a mile away in the village of Trapp.

This tastefully converted barn provides delightful self catering accommodation for a couple seeking peace and seclusion with lovely walks right from the front door onto the footpaths. Walking boots are advised!

As seen on BBC "Escape to the Country" 2015.
