Llansteffan beach is well loved by many. This peaceful and clean beach is ideal for bracing walks and picnics, but not unfortunately swimming. Inland, there are plenty of other walking opportunities if you wish to explore the stunning Welsh countryside which surrounds the village. The ruins of Llansteffan Castle are only a short walk from the village centre and for day trips the popular town of Carmarthen is a short drive away.
