Derwen the fourth 16ft yurt - sleeps 2 adults and 1 or 2 small children, sits in its own clearing overlooking the valley to the west.

Ceridwen sits on the hillside overlooking woodland, with its own balcony and garden and, of course, 40 acres of green fields to explore! There is plenty of garden furniture and BBQ.
The recently upgraded house offers 1 single and 4 twin bedrooms 1 double and 2 four person rooms, so there is plenty of flexibility for great gatherings and parties, which plenty of space to find your own corners and not feel crowded. There are also 5 bathrooms and a separate toilet.
The entrance living room has large comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove and a dining area, which can seat all 25 guests, at one side. TV/DVD, music system, books and games can all be found here. Additionally, the upstairs living room houses a smart TV, DVD player and sound bar.
The property also comes with wonderful garden furniture to help relax and enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside.
The kitchen is a modern Shaker style with an island for preparing food and a small table and chairs, so you can feed the children! There is a range with 2 ovens, dishwasher and 2 larder fridges and a freezer.
Up to 3 well behaved dogs are accepted at £20 per dog per week.
The 3 Yurts in the orchard garden are bentwood, middle eastern inspired yurts, sleeping 2 adults and 1 or 2 small children and are furnished with traditional rugs, blankets and cushions, wood burning stove and comfortable beds. Each yurt has an outdoor decking area with table and chairs to enjoy eating out.
Shared cooking facilities are found in the summer house along with a BBQ. A compost toilet is nearby. There is also a shepherd's hut loo and shower-block in the next field as well as 2 conventional showers and toilets are offered in the farmyard.
Derwen (Oak in Welsh) is the 4th 16ft Yurt and sits in its own clearing under an oak tree on a timber deck overlooking the Valley to the west. It has its own compost toilet accessed via a bridge from the deck with steps down to a cooking area with a small gas stove and cold water supply. The nearest showers are by the Tipi or down by the Old Dairy.
Bryn Helyg (sleeps 4) is of the same style and quality as the existing three yurts on Penybanc Farm, but slightly larger - 18ft 6inches rather than 16ft. It lives at the top of our tipi flower meadow, adjacent to the willow plantation, about 300 metres from the farmyard buildings.
The Eco Pod, Caban Bach, was handbuilt on the farm using mostly recycled materials. It offers basic cooking facilities and a BBQ outside. The shepherds' hut loo and shower block is nearby with 2 female loos, one male loo and a male and female showers. Conventional showers are also to be found in the farmyard.
Converted from a wood and tin clad large caravan, the Hop Shack is light, simply furnished and well-insulated and has electricity and an efficient wood burner. It has a lovely wooden veranda with great views and is located beyond the farm buildings looking up the hill, with sight of garden, meadow and willow plantation.
Our newly renovated 1964 Leyland Titan Double Decker Bus sits in a quiet spot that overlooks the valley. The bus has been brought back to its original livery on the outside and accommodates up to 6 people. It has two double bedrooms with toilets and separate access upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs behind the drivers’ cabin.
Evening vegetarian meals can be provided if you wish to take a break from self-catering along with beauty and holistic treatments in a dedicated space next to the Old Dairy function room. The Old Dairy is the perfect venue for family parties and special celebrations.
Green and eco friendly credentials are very important on the farm and include solar water heating and electricity and a biomass boiler.
