Single holiday let sleeping up to 4 guests in total
Escape to the depths of the Welsh countryside and stay in this cosy, quirky cottage on a secluded organic dairy farm in beautiful north Carmarthenshire.
The grade 2 listed cottage sleeps up to 4 people. With exposed beams, wood-lined ceilings, wood floors & warm colour schemes the cottage offers traditional accommodation of character for couples seeking a romantic getaway or families looking for a relaxing break in the tranquility of rural west Wales. The coast of Cardigan Bay with it's lovely beaches is only 30 minutes away.
The single storey cottage has a well-equipped open-plan kitchen/sitting-room supplied with plenty of china, glass, cutlery & utensils, a toaster, electric kettle, micro-wave oven, refridgerator, electric cooker and a large farmhouse table with seating for 4.
The sitting-room has two comfortable sofas on which to relax by the wood-burning stove, with an extensive library of books as well as a dvd player with a large selection of dvds & a radio for evening entertainment after long days on the beach or walking in the hills. There is free WiFi but no tv. reception making a stay in the cottage a real escape from the pressures of everyday life..
On your arrival there will be a fresh organic home-made cake and flowers from the garden on the table.
The cottage sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms (a double & a twin) which are simply and attractively furnished. All the beds have cosy organic wool duvets and lovely Welsh wool counterpanes. There are a couple of shallow steps leading to the bedrooms.
The wood-burning stove ensures the cottage is comfortable all year round and oil-fired central heating is available from 1st October - 1st May at no additional cost.
All fuel, central heating & electricity, WiFi, bed-linen & towels are included in the price.
A plentiful supply of logs is always freely available.
Basic household items including eco-friendly washing-up liquid & laundry liquid are supplied.
Natural springs supply water to the cottage & the farm & the water is quality tested annually.
A delightful 2 berth bow-top Gypsy Caravan is also available from March to October, on the farm.
It can be booked either as an extra bedroom for guests in the cottage or as a romantic retreat for couples wanting an idyllic country holiday.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £15 per dog. (max. 2 dogs)

The cottage is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful corner of west Wales with fields & woods on the doorstep & the superb beaches of Cardigan Bay & the All Wales Coast Path within easy reach. The Cambrian mountains are near enough for marvellous days out walking in superb landscapes. The River Teifi is close by with its renowned salmon fishing, canoeing and beautiful river-side walks. The Teifi Valley is an area with very little light pollution and so there are good opportunities for star-gazing on clear nights.
The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Historic Gardens and Llanerchaeron National Trust House are in the area as well as many ancient sites, castles, galleries, museums & delightful small market towns & villages including Wales' oldest university town of Lampeter, all set amidst varied & spectacular scenery.
Pony trekking & canoeing are available in the locality & mountain biking in Brechfa Forest is a short drive away.
