A lovely traditional terraced cottage for up to four people just outside the walled town of Conwy with castle, quayside and lively town centre. An ideal location from which to explore the area on foot, bicycle, train or bus as well as by car.

Glyndwr is a lovely cottage in Gyffin just outside the walls of the World Heritage town of Conwy. Gyffin has a local shop for milk and papers and fresh fish and chips, with the shops, pubs,restaurants, the castle and quayside of Conwy itself only a five minute walk away. Buses and trains run throughout the area, and there are many quiet roads for cyclists, so if you prefer not to drive this is an excellent location.  There is an rspb bird sanctuary about a mile away on the river estuary. Within 10mins drive are four local golf courses and three sandy beaches and a little further to the mountains of Snowdonia. The resort town of Llandudno is a short drive away, with its Victorian pier, Alice in Wonderland trail and the Great Orme tramway. The area is full of historic houses, Castles, National Trust gardens, outdoor activities and beautiful scenery.

This delightful terraced cottage has a comfortable lounge with cosy wood burner and a lovely kitchen-diner with small utility room and door leading out to the garden area with patio furniture and secure bike storage and easy access from the back to a pretty footpath over the nearby stream. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are on the first floor up a slightly steeper than the standard staircase. This is well worth the easy climb because the bedrooms have been thoughtfully prepared, one bedroom is a double and the second can be a single, twin or superking depending on your requirements (a slide-under single bed). The bathroom has a bath with shower over it.  The rear garden includes a small covered area just in case the sun hides its face for a brief summer shower. Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, garden furniture, Wi-fi broadband and bike storage. Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included in the tariff and a welcome pack of wood for the log  burner. Roadside parking is available 20yds. down the lane or free off-road parking is just 85yds. away in the village carpark. This is a Non-Smoking property and does not accept pets.
