About this property

A spacious, detached house, with extensive country views and a luxurious hot tub, surrounded by grazing fields and an alpaca enclosure, just one mile from Eglwysbach, in the stunning Conwy valley in North Wales. Offering attractive rooms, stylish contemporary furnishings and a high-quality fitted kitchen with granite worktops and central island, Bryn Derw makes a stunning option for a holiday cottage. Entering into a large central hallway your eye is drawn past the dining area, out to the far-reaching rural scenery beyond. The sitting room is stylish and welcoming with the attraction of a woodburning stove to add atmosphere, and double doors open into a gorgeous conservatory with panoramic views and access out onto the patio and garden. Along the hall, as well as two ground floor bedrooms, you will find a study area, ideal for children to use as a games or activity room or for budding young artists to draw and colour in. Further along is a media room with games consoles and large flat screen TV for movie buffs. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, both benefiting from en-suite shower rooms and the rear bedroom soaking up undisturbed views. The gardens are well kept, with a patio and elevated decking area to maximise the views, whilst the hot tub will ensure a relaxing time for all, and is certain to be a hit for the kids. Close by you will find the wonderful Bodnant Gardens, ideal for a day exploring the beauty of the Conwy Valley, the adrenalin of Surf Snowdonia water park, the High Ropes adventure course, and of course all the delights of Snowdonia and the North Wales coastline and surrounding footpaths. A superb, luxurious Conwy cottage for family and friends to enjoy making superb holiday memories.

The village of Eglwysbach is in the wonderful Conwy Valley, which is renowned for its beautiful countryside, scenic walks and the world famous Bodnant Gardens. Nearby Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is one of Britain's most unspoiled historic towns. A true medieval gem, the town is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls - fortified with 21 towers and three gateways, the walls form an almost unbroken shield around the old town.

Set in a beautiful rural location high up on a hillside with the lovely little village of Eglwysbach with its friendly pub the Bee Inn, and Bodnant gardens very close by. Betws-y-coed, Conwy, and Llandudno are all within easy reach. Zip world velocity is a 40 minute drive away and well worth a visit for kids big and small. Many thanks to Delyth and David, this is one place we will definitely return to in the future.
