Just a short walk from the beach and Rhyl’s many amenities and attractions, this detached, spacious cottage couldn’t be in a better location for a family holiday.
Just a few minutes walk from the beach, guests of all ages will be delighted at this well-equipped, detached holiday property, which is well placed for exploring the north Wales coast. Located on a quiet residential cul-de-sac and enjoying a corner plot with plenty of parking, S50236 offers spacious and comfortable accommodation close to one of north Wales’ most popular beach resorts. Just half a mile from Rhyl town centre and a short walk to the lovely sandy beach, this contemporary property has been thoughtfully renovated to provide many comforts that one expects from a holiday home. The ground floor benefits from a fantastic open plan living area which really lets in the light, making this a very bright and airy space. There is a spacious living area with large flat screen TV, and a well-equipped kitchen/dining room with French doors leading to the enclosed patio. Upstairs, there are four good sized bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and a family bathroom. Rhyl has plenty of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Younger children will enjoy the funfair and amusements on Rhyl promenade, as well as the SeaQuarium, Drift Park and Marine Lake with miniature railway.

The equally popular resort of Prestatyn is connected to Rhyl by miles of sandy beach and lies just 3 miles away. It offers some great retail and leisure facilities including cinema, bowling, golf club and a leisure centre with swimming, gym, café and children’s play area. Another of Prestatyn’s most popular attractions is Offa’s Dyke footpath, a famous 176 mile national footpath which follows the border between Wales and England. If 176 miles is too long, why not try the shorter North Wales Path which connects Prestatyn to the city of Bangor in the west? Apart from being a great area for walking and cycling, other activities available locally include golf, sailing, kite surfing and water sports. Rhyl’s Marine Lake is the only salt water lake in north Wales and here the more adventurous can try their hand at canoeing, water skiing, wake boarding and knee boarding.

Come and enjoy a relaxing and comfortable break by the sea, or venture out and explore many attractions. Places of interest include Bodelwyddan Castle, 6 miles, Bodnant Garden, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, the charming Victorian seaside town of Llandudno and the Great Orme, which are all under 20 miles away. Betws-y-Coed and the Snowdonia National Park are 30 miles away and provide a stark contrast against the coastal landscape. Over the border, the historic city of Chester is only a 45-minute drive with its famous racecourse, city walls, excellent shopping and of course Chester Zoo. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

"S50236 was a beautiful well looked after home. As soon as we walked in we knew it was perfect and we loved it. We had everything we needed in the cottage. This was a family beach holiday but we got a lot more than that all within walking distance. We were lucky to see the Circus and had several beaches to choose from which were all beautiful and clean.Our location was ideal as having a little toddler we were able to come back for an afternoon nap. We had several supermarkets local to us so we did struggle with anything.Would definitely go back to gorgeous North Wales and go back to S50236."

"Having two young children, the location was perfect so near to the beach. Everything like supermarkets and days out were all close by; We went to the Welsh Mountain Zoo which was fab and went on the Orme tram way, kids enjoyed the fun fair at Rhyl and the arcades.The house was plenty big enough, only issue was night time, as we had sheets where we would rather have quilts and this was hard to adjust to for the kids and us alike.Overall we have a lovely family break and it was exactly what we needed."

"Delighted with our holiday at S50236, lovely property in quite cul-de-sac. The parking was ideal as there was ample parking due to the location of the house. The house itself was very clean and comfortable and had plenty of supplies in the kitchen area. It was an ideal location as near to the beach and promenade. You could easily get to Prestatyn and Llandudno and more locations easily without too long a journey. Having the garage was also a great bonus as we all had bikes and bike rack so it was ideal to store these in. Could not fault this house at all and would recomend to anyone and we would definetely use this property again if going to this area."

"The property is very cosy and comfortable, a few minor gripes - the description about what is and is not included vary a little (beach towels etc.), and we didn't really appreciate the builders turning up unannounced one morning, but as I say these were very small niggles. Location wise this is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area, we had a great week away"

"We had a lovely week over Christmas at S50236. Rooms were very comfortable and kitchen was lovely and well equipped. Great parking - we managed to fit 3 cars on. Easy walking distance to beach and town. Supermarkets within easy reach. Good base to explore North Wales. Would book again in the future."
