Talacre Beach Resort has recently undergone a multi-million pound investment with state of the art facilities introduced for 2019.

Set beside miles of ancient golden sand dunes and beaches and alongside the Point of Ayr rspb nature reserve; it’s been the firm favourite with families for years and is perfectly positioned to explore a wealth of amazing castles, beaches, golf courses and the magnificent Snowdonia National Park.
Covid-19 Changes: Darwin Escapes have temporarily removed some non-essential high contact items from their accommodation (eg. Decorative cushions, hair dryers). In line with government restrictions facilities/activities maybe running at a reduced capacity, or closed on selected days during your stay.
Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 17:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01745 858 000 to let them know.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 9:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Darwin Escapes’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.
Travel Cot Hire: Please note you must bring your own mattress and bedding for the cot. Please also note travel cots do not fit in Talacre Beach’s static caravan master bed accommodation. If your accommodation will have an unused twin room during your stay, the resort may be able to remove the beds and create a space, please call our reception team on 01745 858 000 for more information. A £10 refundable deposit may be required on site.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.
Resort Facilities: Talacre Beach’s facilities are currently working at a reduced capacity and pre-booking for any activities or food at the restaurant is essential.
Additional Information: Please also note that holiday accommodation is situated on Talacre Beach’s ‘park two’, which is a short walk away from the main facilities. Please read Darwin Escapes’ park rules found here.
Group Bookings/Party Types: A security deposit may be requested on arrival. A refundable £100 (£200 for mixed groups under 25 yrs) will be required upon arrival. Please note, that the refund can take up to 10 days to be released back to your card.
Work Parties: No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay.

Caravan was great, really spacious and modern. However cleanliness was quite poor. We found an old bath towel on one of the spare beds, bits of rubbish in the bathroom I.e eyelash packet, toothpaste box. We pulled the cabinet out from Under the tv in order to plug our PlayStation in, there was biscuits on the floor and an old jelly alien egg toy. Dirt, crumbs and pennies underneath the couch cushions and table and work surfaces were sticky. Double doors had smear marks and finger print marks from previous occupant probably a child, quite a bad state actually. In general stuff left in the draws etc. upon arrival we were 15 mins early, and were told to wait til 17:00pm to be able to check in as the caravan was not ready. Not sure what they were doing with those 15 mins but it sure as hell weren’t cleaning.

Worse experience of our lives all sick n ill hundreds of pounds worth of food binned. Place dirty no plug in bath could not bath two years old twins was told its been missing for 6 months was told they would get us one never did gas run out . Medicine found under children's bed bloody tissue think Dust .

It would have been useful to have been made aware of changes rto the usual programme due go Covid, so we could plan our timeThe position of the lodge needed to be more clear and parking arrangements, especially as it was accessible with ramps, but not for a car.
