About this property

Former slate workers cottage in a high mountain village on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Historic towns, famous castles, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby.

Bod Feurig is a terraced stone-built cottage in Fron, a former slate workers village high in the mountain, 6 miles from Caernarfon. The village is at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park with its lakes, castles, watersports and of course, Wales' tallest mountain Snowdon. There is horse riding at nearby Waunfawr, a lovely sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle, Caernafon town and the Welsh Highland Railway.

The historic town of Caernarfon has a famous castle, shops, good cafes, pubs and restaurants and pretty streets to explore within the town walls. The Blue Flag beach at Dinas Dinlle is 6 miles away, along with an aviation museum. Snowdonia itself is fantastic for many outdoor activities such as walking, mountain biking, horse riding and watersports. The main footpaths up Snowdon are a short drive away.
