This 8 mile track runs along the spine of the Hills and is reputed to date back some 5,000 years. This ancient route was possibly used to transport Wicklow gold all the way to Wessex. Whatever the truth, with links to the Mabininogian, Stonehenge and the many Bronze and Iron Age monuments - along with jaw dropping scenery, it is a fascinating landscape to explore.
