Perfect location, cottage was lovely. Have not given all perfect scores because: the mattress for the travel cot was too big and didn’t fit - even trying to bend it into the cot was ridiculous - we would have taken our mattress if we had known so that our toddler was comfy; the single bed in the downstairs bedroom prevented the door from closing - no privacy especially as this bedroom opened off the living room; there was no warning that the cottage was in the middle of a building site - not only were there a huge amount of trucks and vans coming and going from early in the morning restricting parking but it was noisy and very dusty; the builders also disabled the security lock on the gate so the ‘gated site’ was not secure; workmen were working on the outside of the cottages clearing gutters and sealing brickwork while we were there - again restricting parking and blocking entry to our cottage.
