The mattress on the basement bed is very worn and therefore offers little support. Maybe the owners could consider a new bed, maybe a bit wider... and at least replace the mattress. To be honest we even considered sleeping on one of the corner sofas, which are much firmer. We still love Ty Glas, bed notwithstanding... and look forward to visiting again at the beginning of December.
