Orrest Head House is a stunning mix of traditional grade 11 listed Cumbrian cottage meets Boutique pad! Built before Windermere village was created by the railway, the property dates back to 1672. Now owned by a designer the property has been redeveloped with style and flair.

On the ground floor the house features a modern kitchen, equipped with everything you'd need for the grandest of parties, including: 2 large fridge-freezers and a wine cooler for all that champagne. Next to the kitchen there's a TV snug, where a smaller group can get away from the crowd. The majestic dining room seats 18 around a square table. The lounge is a huge space with some of the longest Chesterfied sofas you'll have ever seen enough space to seat 16. Perhaps the most unique feature of this house is Josiah Brown's - your very own bar. Perfect for a celebration party. There are also patio doors which open onto a sun terrace. Finally there's a wellie room with a separate entrance, which has enough space for all your wet gear. The room also houses the washing machine, dryer and boilers.

Upstairs there are 5 large bedrooms, each individually decorated with contemporary wall-coverings and colours all with ensuite shower rooms. Bedroom 1 is a super-king-size with a Victorian bath (in the ensuite) over looking the rear garden. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are king-size and both have baths overlooking the garden in the bedroom. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are both triple with single beds that can be pushed together.

Outside there are over 2 acres of private grounds, (shared with Orrest Head Cottage), a large patio with furniture and barbecue and parking for at least 10 cars.

Price Information:

3 night weekends Friday 4pm to Monday 10am @ £1680.
4 night mid-week breaks Monday 4pm to Friday 10am @ £900.
7 night breaks priced individually.
