Two A frame timber lodges set in fifteen acres of beautiful, tranquil north Dorset countryside, 3 miles from Gillingham. Overlooking our coarse fishing lakes and backing onto mixed woodland the lodge area is safely fenced for children and dogs. Fishing, rowing dinghies, 3 hole pitch and putt golf, BBqs and garden chairs are all available.
Lakes (max 5) and Mallard (max 6) Lodges are set in our fifteen acres of lakes, woodland, pasture and gardens. Nine steps lead to the sundeck with picnic table. Open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area, double bedroom and bathroom with w.c. are all on deck level. Upstairs two further bedrooms, w.c. with handbasin and in Mallard a shower.
Comfortably furnished, well equipped - TVs with Sky Freeview and DVDs - and convector heaters, the lodges are exceptionally well insulated. All linen and towels provided.
Facilities: Three coarse fishing lakes with carp to 20lbs, tench and bream for holiday guests and and our small local syndicate. 3 hole pitch and putt golf with clubs and balls, rowing dinghies with lifejackets,woodland walk, BBQs and garden chairs all available.
Owners around to advise on good walks, pub food, golf courses, clay pigeon shooting and horse riding and places of interest..
Longleat, Yeovilton Air Museum, Tank Museum, Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Dorset Heritage Coast, Stourhead and many National Trust properties are within an hours drive.
