Dan-yr-allt cottage is in a peaceful location with stunning views set within a 30 acre estate. It is adjacent to the owner's house, overlooking the valley of the river Irfon and the mountain ranges beyond. A holiday here would suit those who would like peace and tranquillity in the heart of the beautiful mid Wales countryside.

The location is a great base for touring and enjoying mid Wales. Fishing can be arranged nearby. For golfers, the 18 hole parkland course at Builth Wells golf club is only a short drive away and there are partnership courses at Llandrindod Wells and Cradoc near Brecon.

The nearest town, Builth Wells, is a 3 mile drive from the cottage. This attractive market town is next to the river Wye and has most good local shopping facilities, the Wyeside arts centre/cinema and it is the location of the Royal Welsh showground which has a variety of events on during the year. The Brecon Beacons, Elan Valley and Hay-on-Wye are all easily reached.

The property is strictly no smoking. Sorry no dogs.

Please note that the seating area at the back of the cottage has a steep shrubby slope, and this and the lake area are unfenced. It is important that children are accompanied by an adult when outside the cottage.
