Middlewick is a 17th Century farmstead situated in 16 acres of gardens, orchards and paddocks. In a wonderful rural location. Based at the foot of the Glastonbury Tor with glorious views across the Somerset Levels to the Mendip Hills beyond yet only a short walk into Glastonbury centre. Just 4 1/2 miles from historical Wells and within easy driving distance to local tourist attractions, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Weston Super Mare, Longleat and Yeovilton Air Museum to name a few.
Eleven comfortable cottages, sleeping from two to six, were created from the original farmhouse and outbuildings and are a mix of old and new with a wealth of stone and timber. The newly renovated cottages, Annex, Meadow Barn and TorView have wood burning fires and wood is provided free of charge during the winter months.
In the complex you will fine a lovely indoor heated swimming pool and steam room. Perfect for keeping warm on a winters day.
All cottages are fully equipped and all linen/towels are provided. Most cottages are hardwired with internet or have WIFI available. TVs all have freeview and DVDs.
For larger groups the Function Room is a wonderful place for a family get-together, party, workshop, yoga session. Seating up to 48 people we can also arrange catering as required for your perfect holiday.
