The oldest building on our farm, Cornhouse Cottage provides peaceful and comfortable accomodation for up to 5 people, 7 if the sofa bed is used. Fully equipped and awarded four stars, price includes all electricity, linen and towels. Both bedrooms are en suite and accessed by a spiral staircase. We also have a travel cot and high chair for infants. Broadband internet access is available for those of you who can't leave home without your laptop! There is plenty of parking space, and garden furniture and gas barbecue are available. You can make friends with the hens in the garden! Give them some bread crumbs and they may even lay you an egg!!

Stradbroke is a thriving village with three pubs serving meals (one of which has a curry Take Away menu), a butchers, bakery, Spar supermarket, and a Post Office that sells an amazing array of goods. There is a Fish and Chip van service on Thursday evenings, and we are within ten miles of Eye, Framlingham and Harleston, all of which have a variety of eat in/Take Away restaurants. There are a number of other excellent eating places within just a few miles, if you don't want to use the range oven (or microwave) in the cottage's fully equipped kitchen, including washer-drier and fridge freezer! At least you won't have to wash up - there is a dishwasher too...

Ideal as a base for visiting the East Coast, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, and Norwich.
