It oozes character from the A-framed ceiling and exposed beams, with a warm and cosy atmosphere. The interior offers a well-appointed, open-plan living room with a woodburning stove adding extra warmth to a wintry evening. There is also a double bedroom up a couple of steps, served by a modern bathroom and outside you have the benefit of a wood-fired hot tub within your own private garden. Take some quiet time with your favourite book on a balmy afternoon, or gather with friends for alfresco dining on a warm summer's evening. Soak in the wood-fired hot tub after a day of adventure and look up at the star-filled sky, taking in the peaceful atmosphere surrounding you. If you fancy heading out for the evening, the nearest pub, the Goat Inn, offers delicious food and drink, down in the village of Garndolbenmaen. nearby, Porthmadog boasts quaint little beach shops and places to eat, as well as the Ffestiniog Railway. Discover the castle at Criccieth and some superb sandy beaches, or explore the Italianate village of Portmeirion. You also have the Snowdonia National Park on the doorstep, with walks, cycling opportunities and many outdoor activities available. Enjoy a memorable holiday in a splendid location. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway, where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog. The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast.
