Tideswell's a quaint and bustling village in the heart of the Peak District National Park. It wins the Derbyshire Best Kept Village Award and is famous for its Well Dressings, pictures made from seeds and petals. It's perfect for walking with Monsal Dale and Millers Dale nearby and for exploring the abundance of Peak District attractions. There are real local shops, pubs and tearooms which specialise in fresh local produce and Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth are just ten mins drive away. Peak Practice has been filmed locally and Alton towers is just a 45 min drive.
Bluebell Cottage (top three photos)
A pretty 17thC stone cottage and former pub, oozes charm and has been restored and refurbished to a high standard retaining many original beams and features and has a logburning stove. It hides away in a quiet street in the centre of Tideswell close to shops, tearooms and pubs. It sleeps 8/9 in 3 bedrooms (one bedroom has 2 double beds and en suite, there is a double room and a twin room) plus one on a sofa bed. The walled garden has patio furniture, small pond and BBQ and there are lovely walks from the door. Changeover day is normally a Friday.
Butterfield Cottage (bottom two photos)
This scrumptious cottage lies a five minute walk away form Bluebell towards the edge of the village and overlooks a pretty Dale. it sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - 2 are double and the twin room has an ensuite shower room. This cottage is also furnished and equipped to a high standard and has a sunny garden with patio furniture and lovely walks from the door. Changeover day is normally a Saturday.
Both cottages are lovely and have TV/DVD/CD and a range of books and games. Kitchen equipment includes hob and oven, automatic washing machine, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and ironing equipment. Household linen is provided.
Pets are most welcome but are subject to a small cover charge.

Prices for Bluebell Cottage range from £395 for a week in January to £645 for a week in August.
