Come to Snowdonia and explore Wales' vast mountain ranges, the deep green valleys and the miles of golden beaches. We, at Pen Cefn Cottage Holidays, offer you the perfect location to relax after the day's activities. Only 3 miles away from the idyllic market town of Bala, our four tastefully converted self-catering cottages nestle in this dramatic and panoramic landscape.

The cottages range in size and sleep between 2 and 6 people. All are graded 4 stars (excellent quality) by Visit Wales. Each has its' own private secure garden with BBQ and garden furniture. We have a fully fitted laundry on site which is included in the price as is all electricity, heating, bedding and towels. There is a video, books and games library. Ty Gwennol - 2 storey cottage with bathroom upstairs - sleeps 6 in 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk room.

Ty Hen - single storey cottage with 2 steps to enter- sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin room

Y Llaethdy - single storey cottage with 2 steps to enter - sleeps 3 in 1 double and 1 single bed in a family room

Hafod Las - a single storey cottage with level access, sleeps 2 in a double bed. The cottage is all on one level and has extra wide doors which open both ways to accommodate wheelchair users. The shower room has a fixed shower seat (which does lift up for those who do not need to be seated) and grab rails. The toilet is about 4 inches higher than the average toilet and has a grab rail. The wash hand basin is low enough to enable some -one in a wheelchair to remain seated while washing. This cottage is ideally suited for those people who are not totally reliant on a carer and is not suited for paraplegic or quadriplegic use.

The grounds are extensive and include a playing field for children, lovely water gardens, safe storage for mountain bikes etc and plenty of off-road parking.
