Red Lion Cottage is set in the heart of the beautiful Teesdale village of Cotherstone. Newly refurbished, the cottage offers a combination of traditional country style with modern luxury and convenience.
The Cottage is situated next to the Red Lion Pub, a quiet and friendly country pub, serving excellent food at weekends. 150 metres up the road is the Fox and Hounds which serves delicious food lunchtime and evening, 7 days a week. In between the two pubs is the village post office/shop/newsagent, which sells a good range of food and drink.
Public footpaths lead almost from the door into the surrounding countryside and down to the River Tees (5 minutes walk). There are walks for all abilities in the immediate area and beyond.
