Greystone Cottage is a beautiful family cottage situated in a stunning coastal location in Brook Chine; Compton beach is a short walk away along the coastal path in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large downstairs living area, and is perfect for family holidays, friends‚ reunions or just getting away from it all. Whilst the house is capable of taking 10 people it is also easily managed and cosy for just a couple.

Greystone has coastal and rural views and the 1/2 acre garden at the rear has mature fruit trees and a recently planted orchard, trampoline and willow yurt as well as a large terraced area for outdoor eating.

The house has recently been renovated by a film set designer and is decorated with beautiful and interesting furniture; many of them salvaged finds from the island. Wherever possible the restoration used sustainable or recycled building materials, low energy appliances and is heavily insulated to minimise the buildings carbon footprint.

Compton beach is perfect for swimming, building sandcastles and surfing, Brook beach is famous for fossil hunts and the 130 million year old dinosaur footprints that can be seen at low tide. There is a pub within walking distance and many of the Islands walks can be accessed directly from the house. Local shopping can be done at Freshwater or Yarmouth and there are several local farm shops nearby.

We are open all year round and outside school holidays are available for short breaks please call for pricing

We welcome well behaved dogs for an additional £20 per pet, per week.
