Twitter was abuzz with reactions to the series finale of Line of Duty on Sunday night - including many people querying how to get themselves into witness protection, given Jo Davidson’s new beautiful countryside cottage.
The online response to the series six finales of the BBC’s undercover crime thriller Line of Duty has been mixed. Still, one thing viewers agreed on was that DCI Jo Davidson’s witness protection situation looked remarkably better than Gill Bigelow’s.
A short scene showed Davidson leaving a stunning stone cottage in an undisclosed location with a new partner and abounding golden retriever - a far cry from the life her character was born into. Google Trends data shows the spike in public interest in the cottage from Line of Duty on the night the show aired, continuing into bank holiday Monday.
We believe that we have found the cottage's location - and can reveal that it is in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan, in South Wales.
Below you'll find cottages strikingly similar to the cottage in Line of Duty in and around the area of Glamorgan.
