Our Slow Cabins were built in Belgian where the brand was born and transported to Ireland in 2022. We launched Slow Cabins Ireland that Autumn. We currently have 5 cabins located in Ireland but watch this space, we are growing.

So come and escape the chaos of every day life and dare to digital detox at Slow Cabins, surrendering to nature in the secluded Burren Nature Sanctuary.

Inside, think Japanese and Scandinavian minimalist design with large panoramic windows, log burning stove, sleek kitchenette, waterfall shower, scandi dry toilet and a super comfortable queen sized bed with luxurious duvet and pillows for a peaceful nights sleep. Disconnect from technology with our network blocking phone box and become more attuned to the present moment. Outside, calming nature is a given. So soak up the song of chirping birds at sunrise and nestle up beside your crackling fire pit at night under a blanket of dazzling stars.

We have 5 cabins available on site which accommodate for 2 guests per cabin (furry friends also welcome). Arrive at The Burren Nature Sanctuary for self-check in and be welcomed by an array of faces: Toffee the pony, Frank the alpaca, Ruben the rabbit, Emilia the pig, Highland Cattle, adorable donkeys, friendly goats and heart warming sheep. Follow your pre arrival directions to navigate to your cabin (approx 5min walk).

Slow Cabins Ireland is an impact-oriented concept with environmental and social responsibility at the core of our business. Here's how we lower our carbon footprint and look after our environment:
- Our cabin roofs our jam packed with solar panels to power your fridge, plug sockets, lights and electric shower
- Our scandi dry toilet waste is used to (slowly) make compost that is used on site
- Our grey water is filtered by specially designed willow beds, ensuring no contamination of the local area
- We plant a tree for every booking and give back a % percent of profit to support nature regeneration on our host site, The Burren Nature Sanctuary
