The house was built in the Victorian age and features many original characteristics but has been lovingly renovated and now offers exceptional-quality accommodation with masses of space both indoor and out and up to four pets are welcome to join in the fun.
Entering the front door into a large hallway with original Delabole slate flooring you are led through into a kitchen to swoon over! A vast space where you can linger over family breakfasts or cook-up tasty treats to enjoy in the evening around the huge dining table, basking in the glow of the wood-burning stove. An original pantry leading off the kitchen is an interesting feature and the exposed brickwork of the stairs adds to the characterful feeling. A family living room with Smart TV and Netflix and the separate snug, complete with a choice of games consoles, offers relaxation options for all. If you are feeling competitive then why not set up a table football competition in the sun room which runs the whole width of the house.
There are five spacious bedrooms upstairs, two of which have en suite shower rooms, and an absolutely splendid bathroom with a free-standing bath will mean that there is going to be a queue for those wanting a long, luxurious soak.
The village of Pelynt is about two miles from S90602 and is home to two good village stores, a 14th Century church and a traditional village pub which does great food in a welcoming atmosphere. The coastal towns of Looe and Polperro are a 15 minute drive away and located midway between them are the secluded twin coves of Talland Bay. This section of the Cornish coast is very unspoilt and is designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty and a Heritage Coast. Talland Bay is ideal for fishing, rock-pooling, swimming and snorkelling and is pet-friendly all year round.
