This traditional Cornish cottage is situated in the heart of the pretty village of St Newlyn East, five miles from Newquay, and is ideally located for touring the stunning north Cornwall coast and beaches. Victoria Cottage oozes character and has a really homely vibe which can be felt as soon as you enter. The spacious well-equipped kitchen leads through to the cosy sitting room, complete with a woodburner, ideal to take the chill off those cooler evenings. There are two tastefully decorated and furnished bedrooms, one of which has the luxury of an adjoining dressing area. Outside, there is a small side patio and a useful shed ideal for storing bikes and surfboards. The village of St Newlyn East has everything you will need for your everyday needs, with a good shop and just around the corner you will find the Pheasant Inn, a popular country pub serving good quality home-cooked food and a selection of local ales. Within a fifteen minute drive, you will be able to visit a different beach on every day of the week. Discover one of Newquay's world-class beaches such as Perranporth, Holywell Bay and Crantock, all are less than 7 miles away. Should you wish to venture further afield the tropical delights of the Eden Project or the cobbled streets of Truro, with its shops, theatre and restaurants, can be reached within an hours drive. With easy access to all the leading attractions and a great village setting, this cottage offers the ideal location for a great holiday at any time of the year.
Nestling among the open fields and winding hedgerows of north Cornwall, this tiny village offers a quiet contrast from the summer bustle of nearby Newquay. St Newlyn East boasts a well-stocked shop, pub which serves delicious home-made food, Post Office and a butcher's shop.

I don't think we've stayed anywhere else that caters so well for dogs! The owners really thought of everything, even leaving dog beds and towels. They also thought of the humans too, leaving us a bottle of wine and cream tea on arrival. We would definitely stay again.

Owner very welcoming on your arrival. Cottage is perfect especially if your a dog owner. Location ideal for exploring Cornwall . With the local village shop being 20 seconds walk and The Pheasant pub being 3 minutes walk the cottage is ideal for being away from the crowds of seaside towns but offers opportunities in village to eat out or takeaway.
