Situated right on the square in the centre of the village you will arrive to the welcome of a proper home made Cornish cream tea. With comfortable seating and dining areas, a well equipped kitchen and two tastefully furnished bedrooms Langate offers you the perfect base to explore and enjoy this delightful area. The Kings Arms, a beautiful old coaching Inn with a local reputation for good food and well kept beers is literally a couple of minutes walk away and with the landlord and landlady the owners of the cottage you will be assured of a warm welcome. Whether enjoying a locally brewed beer beside beside the open fire in the winter or cool drinks whilst dining al fresco in the walled garden this is a traditional Cornish pub to be enjoyed all year round. Each day can be spent exploring the beautiful beaches, delightful rivers, pretty villages and countryside that make the Roseland such a perfect holiday setting. St Mawes and it's castle are a 'must visit 'but there is so much more to do and see making this the ideal base for a memorable holiday.

The ancient village of Tregony sits at the head of the Roseland Peninsula, and makes an ideal base for exploring this part of Cornwall. There is easy access to the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, and also the cathedral city of Truro, which has good shopping, pubs and restaurants, as well as a theatre. Sandy beaches can be enjoyed within a few miles, and a walk along the coastal path is not to be missed.
