Quiet and great location within the Cotswold's. Beautiful places to walk. We will definitely stay again when back. Thanks so much for this.

Good communication from owner and very helpful. The cottage is very cosy and welcoming and we really enjoyed our week here. The bedrooms are lovely particularly the double bedroom which was a lovely place to retire for a comfortable nights sleep. The whole atmosphere of the cottage is great and the location is perfect for visiting most of the popular Cotswold towns. The garden is interesting although we didn't really use it but adds to the beauty of the property. We would recommend this property and we would certainly be happy to stay here again.

Firstly the front room is very cold and has too small radiator for it's size which is badly positioned right next to the staircase, which means all heat traveling upstairs rather then into the room. Yes there is an open fire but because of it's nature it only looks pretty and we were surprised how little warmth it gave as you can not control the speed at which it burns and all heat escapes quickly up the chimney. A log burner here would be much more efficient move in that sense and also easier to get going (I had to buy several kindling packs because the wood outside was too wet to take) Second serious issue was the lack of overhead lighting or any good lighting in the sitting room - the only place to read a book was the bedroom which also lacked overhead lighting but had good side table lamps instead. Dinning room was much cosier in the winter and had a good log burner - I couldn't get my head around why this isn't used as a sitting room instead? There is much more light in there, really good heating and it faces the garden. It also has a lovely wooden floor which is way warmer then stone floor in the front room. Kitchen was well equipped but SOOOO COLD we didn't want to spend much time in there cooking at all. There is no central heating in the kitchen and with temperatures of -3 that weekend it was painful to get up in the morning and try to make a breakfast. Moving upstairs bedrooms are good. Bathroom with the bath tub is great and actually very warm so no complaints her
