Completing the interior is a well-appointed shower room, boasting a walk-in shower, basin and WC. If you can tear yourself away from this charming base, a short stroll will bring you to the iconic village centre, where you will discover why Bourton is sometimes called 'the Venice of the Cotswolds'. The town of Bourton-on-the-Water itself plays host to a number attractions to keep you busy, such attractions include the Bloody Bourton Walking Tours, which is a superb walking tour filled with ghostly tales of the town. Other attractions include the miniature model village, Birland park and the traditional hedge maze, Dragonfly Maze. Further afield, you can visit the National Trust property of Bibury, Minster Lovell Hall and Dovecote and Hook Norton Brewery. Lark's Lodge is a wonderful property to come back to after a busy day exploring.
