A short walk takes you into the pretty Gloucestershire village of Mickleton, famous for the “Pudding Club”, it also has two pubs, post office, general food store, farm shops and a butcher. The properties are on the “Heart of England Way” and has many other scenic walks to enjoy from the doorstep and close by is the Cotswolds Way with its 102 miles of footpaths. Within 10 minutes’ drive will take you to Chipping Campden, one of the jewels amongst the Cotswold villages and offers an excellent choice of restaurants and inns.

Shakespeare’s Stratford Upon Avon where you can discover more about the famous poet and playwright including seeing a play at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre. Hidcote Gardens, a National Trust owned property which is well worth a visit, and Broadway with its tower overlooking the pretty town. The contrasting Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace are within easy reach as is Cheltenham, home to the famous horseracing festival and the literary festival and the historic University City of Oxford, where you can enjoy a punt on the river.
