The Ferryman is a very well presented character cottage which offers exciting and uninterrupted views across the harbour. There is always something to observe from the various windows to the cottage with Weymouth still having an active fishing port but with more than its fair share of luxury yachts and cruisers. From the cottage you have a stunning view of the town bridge opening up to admit the yachts into and out of the inner marina. The fashionable Brewers Quay area with its restaurants and coffee houses is only a minute or two's walk from the cottage. After an early morning stroll for your newspaper you can sit on the edge of the quay and fish for your breakfast! Weymouth's award winning beach invites you to swim in the safe shallow waters and sunbathe on the golden sands. Watching the sun set over the bridge from the magnificent lounge picture window makes for a dazzling end to a perfect day when you book a holiday at The Ferryman.
Accommodation: Hallway. Large, modern, fitted kitchen diner with harbour views. Downstairs toilet with hand basin. Door to very small rear patio area. 1st floor: Lounge with views across the harbour. Bathroom with bath, power shower over, hand basin and toilet. 2nd floor: Bedroom 1, one double bed and one single bed, harbour views. Bedroom 2, small room with twin single beds.
Services in addition to standard equipment: No wifi. Gas central heating. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge, DVD. Book library. Integrated wardrobe storage on first floor landing. Restricted hour only on road parking outside. Parking permit for nearby public car park included for 1 car. Strictly no smoking inside the cottage. Please note: This property may not be suitable for people with small children due to a part open sided staircase to the second floor which has no handrail. Another lovely property from Dream Cottages - very clean and cosy. Excellent location on the harbourside. Very handy having the parking permit at the property without having to go to the office to pick it up. It would be nice if the property had Wi-Fi - although sometimes it's nice "just to get away from it all" Stayed April 2017
