Tempting though it might be to spend your whole break here soaking it all in, there’s a huge choice of things to do to suit all ages and tastes. You could walk into Crich to enjoy the pubs and shops or take a ride at the National Tramway Museum. Cromford, Matlock and Matlock Bath are also very close by. With attractions such as Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham for the more adventurous and for a more relaxing time, just a little further away is the lovely town of Bakewell and the stunning Chatsworth House. This is the perfect base for every age, with every taste, every day of the year.
The village of Crich is full of character and history, and boasts a number of shops and several pubs. There are walks around the village, and trams (the village is home to the National Tramway Museum). Move up the valley to some of the most beautiful views of the Derbyshire Dales. Matlock, 7 miles away, offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as attractions such as Gulliver's Kingdom.
